Monk Rowe: This collection of writing is based on my position as Jazz Archive Director at the Fillius Jazz Archive at Hamilton College, a position I have held since 1995. Our Archive has collected individual videotaped interviews with over 300 musicians, writers, producers and spouses all intimately involved in the jazz world.
